The number 1 priority in our lives is that our eternity is secure: we're born-again Christians. It's the most important decision to ever be made in anyone's life. There is no room to play religious games with this: eternity is a very long time! There is a God who loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.
Our number 2 priority is our family: we have 2 wonderful teenage daughters. Along with that we have 9 cats and a bird.
We live in southern New Hampshire on 4.4 acres, including a beaver pond. It's wonderful watching our daughters enjoy nature in a way that we didn't have. It took a long time to find just the right place that the Lord had for us, but it was worth the wait.
We practically have a wildlife refuge: we've seen beaver, muskrat, otter, mink, fox, coyote, deer, owl, bittern, green and great blue herons, hawks, and I'm told that black bears have been spotted down the road. With all the building going on all around us I wonder how long they all will stay around here.
We have a long winding driveway that descends to our house; our house is not visible from the road. One day while my daughter was coming down the driveway on her bike she surprised a coyote that was just standing there. Don't know who was the more surprised. The coyote just ran away through the woods.
